What We Can Work On Together
Individual sessions are the core of my practice, with couples or family sessions brought in when needed — here's how it actually works.
One-on-one sessions, built around you
This is the core of my practice — weekly virtual sessions focused entirely on what you're carrying. Anxiety, depression, identity shifts, family patterns, relationship strain, trauma that's ready to surface — whatever brought you here, this is where we do the real work of understanding it and building something different.
Individual therapy treats:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress management
- Trauma
- Attachment issues
- Behavioral problems
- Emotion regulation
Sessions draw on CBT and DBT, but the direction is always yours. Some weeks that looks like processing something specific; other weeks it's building a concrete skill you can use the same day. There's no fixed script — just steady, honest work at your pace.
What this typically includes
- Weekly 1:1 virtual sessions
- A person-centered, collaborative approach
- Practical tools alongside deeper insight work
- Space for trauma to surface when you're ready — never before
- Standard sessions are 53 minutes, with the remaining time used to complete documentation. 30- and 45-minute sessions are also available upon request.
Good fits for this format
- Recurring conflict that keeps circling back
- Communication that's broken down between partners
- Family dynamics affecting everyone involved
- Wanting a neutral space to work through something together
Bringing others in to support your progress
I offer couples or family sessions on an as-needed basis, when it's requested by an existing individual client. These sessions aren't a separate ongoing service — they're brought in intentionally, to work through specific relationship or family dynamics that are part of the bigger picture.
The goal is always the same: improving the relationship or family dysfunction that's actually present, not just talking around it. If this feels like something that could help your situation, it's worth raising directly in an individual session so we can figure out if and when it makes sense to bring others into the room.
